Solar Eclipse April 8, 2024

Starting at 13:35:45 (1:35 PM) on Monday April 8, 2024 the city of Kempner will experience a total Solar Eclipse for 4 minutes and 23.5 seconds. This will be one of the best places in the world to observe this from, and the county of Lampasas anticipates over 100,000 visitors coming on that day. 

Such a large event will require coordination of all regional partners to ensure the safety of all our citizens and visitors. As we have more information it will be posted to this page.
